<p>Andrew Girdwood, head of strategy at bigmouthmedia, said it is unlikely that Google will have adverts from social networks frequently placed on its pages as it would “weaken” the company’s proposition.</p>
<p>Last November, it was announced that Google was carrying adverts from Twitter’s network, integrating promoted tweets into its Realtime search engine but not placing them in its main search engine.</p>
<p>The company’s move comes as social network advertising spending it set to rise from £130 million in 2011 to £275 million in 2012.</p>
<p>Mr Girdwood added that it is very unlikely to that will go any further into Google’s search engine.</p>
<p>He said: “But if you can imagine a future where ads for social platforms regularly shown on the pages I imagine that Google would certainly weaken the proposal from Google and I’ll be very surprised if they did.”</p>

<p>Speaking to Edge magazine, Cousins said that the publisher did not generate much ad revenue from the project. Although it probably seemed a good idea, the fact is that advertising of gaming will not achieve the expected growth in the EA.</p>
<p>The proof can be found in the company’s free-to-play online titles <em>Battlefield Heroes</em> and its successor<em>Play4Free</em>. “We thought we’d do in-game advertising and virtual goods sales, and one of those took off really fast and the other hasn’t really taken off at all,” Cousins said.</p>
<p>In-game advertising isn’t to be dropped entirely though. The exec remained optimistic about the venture, highlighting that more targeted examples would prove to produce more effective results.</p>

<p>After all, the fire, which is about to descend on Earth and salvation is at hand now is not the time to deny you a little bling. Life can indeed be brutally brief, but diamonds are forever. Waver is the owner at the soft voice of the Tour Avenue jewelry LTD. It is also the eldest of his superiors Messianic congregation, and he believes he can be a place to share his faith with his neighbors and customers, if they so wish.</p>
<p>That belief led to a unique advertising strategy that drew some attention, and a few complaints, up in the Duluth-Superior television viewing area. Falter began airing a commercial (www.startribune.com/a54) for LTD recently that begins with ominous music and an earthly landscape besieged by fire and lightning. Falter faces the camera and delivers his message:</p>
<p>Did you know the Bible predicts the day of the Lord, followed by the return of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem? As I read the daily news and look around the world, I believe we’re really close to that day. Nonetheless, here and now, if you want jewelry, I have access to millions. Diamonds and gemstones, gold, silver, watches and clocks, and I am selling everything at 50 percent off, giving you unbelievable savings.</p>
<p>Falter says he came up with the idea after an inspiring trip to Israel that convinced him he needed to be more vocal about his faith. He had a business in Superior for 30 years, and he had his faith, “but I never really made the two intersect.”</p>
<p>“The Bible tells of prophesies of wars and rumors of wars, of morality collapsing and one-world governments and economies,” said Falter. “So many things seem to be converging that a lot of people think something is up. I don’t know that the world is ending or anything, but something is going on.”</p>
<p>So, in October he directed a local station and a graphic artist to come up with the commercial. He put up a large banner on the front of the store announcing a “Second Coming Sale, 50 Percent off.” He carried the theme inside the store with a banner that shows a cloud with light shining through “that tells of the Lord’s return.”</p>
<p>Falter doesn’t sound like the kind of guy who insists on pushing his beliefs on you, but he sure wants you to know that if you want the conversation, he’s there for you. He wouldn’t mind if you bought a nice diamond ring or pendant while you’re at it. As his website notes, diamonds are resistant to fire and steel, and the word it evolves from a Latin word meaning “unconquerable.”</p>
<p>“The first part of the ad is about the faith, the Second Coming,” he said. “The second part of the ad is to say I’ve got a pretty good sale going on.”</p>
<p>The response?</p>
<p>“I think it’s mostly positive, if people are people of faith,” Falter said. “Some said, ‘Wow, this guy is coming out of the closet with his faith.’ A few friends thought I was kind of short-selling the Lord.”</p>
<p>The family management, Falter has to compete with large chains and discount prices, so he thought that the second coming could help sales. He has received some attention in the local press, and he was one spot on Youtube. <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20110129134430/http://www.361st.com/2010/12/sound-marketing-policy-for-businesses.html">Business</a> is up from last year, but was not sure if the ads are in the month of September or the economy is turning around. A caller wanted to know how long the sale lasts. “I told her, until the Lord returns, “Falter said. “She said, Wow. You just blew my mind.”</p>

Launch an Android application, however, and you’ll eventually be able to communicate with the masses.  At least that’s what new data market share of smart phone equipment research firm Canalys suggests.</p>
<p>Apple still reigns when it comes to hype and the buzz around mobile technology, but Android mobile operating system (OS) was slowly ground on the IOS (operating system for iPhone / IPAD) in terms popularity. Now, data from Canalys said Android IOS actually exceeded Apple as the market shares of the United States.</p>
<p>About 44% of smart phones shipped in the U.S. in the third quarter of 2010 country have been run on Android vs. 26% for Apple. Of course, the difference is due to open Android platform allows us to operate over a wide range of handsets rather than one Apple iPhone. This follows data from comScore, and Millennial Media, which has had advertisers, developers and users have been adopting Android for a higher rate.</p>
<p>More Android mobile application is a discussion</p>
